We have had an exciting year so far! Lincoln Police Chief Jeffrey Bliemeister spoke to us in January, Kate Engel from Innovation Campus shared their vision in February, Dr. Tammie Lang gave a presentation on Ethics in March, Good Works enabled us to volunteer at the People City Mission Need Center in April, Bruce Ramge, Nebraska State Department of Insurance Director gave us insights as to what his department is doing, and in August, our member benefit was a fun tour of Robbers Cave.
We have a great lineup already set for the rest of the year! Please be aware some of the dates have changed.

We have many members in the Good Works Committee, New Designee/Membership Committee, Scholarship Committee, and Web/Public Relations Committee and Christmas Committee who have made many contributions to helping us be a great chapter.
I would encourage each of you to consider running for either the open Board Member position or Secretary. Elections will be after the October meeting.
You can also serve in any of the above committees.
In these changing times, our active involvement in our Nebraska CPCU Society is vital. Please stay engaged to help yourself and your fellow members, as well as the community.
Have a great rest of the year!
Gene Deyoe, CPCU
President, Nebraska CPCU Society
